Background: Hamish joined Fern Ridge Fresh at the onset of the company and has been involved in the produce industry for more than 40 years. His extensive knowledge and experience helps make Fern Ridge Fresh a world-leading apple exporter.
Petra Rees
Finance & Administration Manager
Background:
Petra joined the Fern Ridge Fresh team in 2018, bringing with her a wealth of experience in financial accounting, particularly within the agricultural and horticultural sectors. Her deep industry knowledge has been an asset to the business and a welcome addition to the team. In addition to overseeing the company’s financial operations, Petra leads the administration team and ensures the smooth day-to-day running of the office. Her leadership fosters efficiency, consistency, and a strong team culture. Petra also manages the company’s Human Resources and Health & Safety functions, with a strong focus on Compliance, Sustainability, and Systems Management. Her dedication to maintaining high standards across all areas of the business makes her an integral part of Fern Ridge Fresh—truly the heart of the workplace.

Michael Park
Sales Executive
Markets:
Background: Michael joined Fern Ridge Fresh as a Sales Executive in August 2026, bringing a strong foundation in domestic produce sales.
Throughout his career, Michael has developed extensive experience across the fresh produce industry, holding sales roles with Kiwi Crunch Exports, T&G Global, PickMee! Fresh, and MG Group.
He has worked closely with customers and suppliers across New Zealand and international markets, building lasting relationships and supporting successful sales programmes.

Fredy Masterson
Sales Executive
Markets: Taiwan, China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Europe, Central America, New Zealand & Pacific Islands.
Background: Fredy is responsible for export sales across key international markets, managing customer relationships and supporting the delivery of premium New Zealand produce worldwide. Having started her career in packhouse and coolstore operations, she has developed a strong understanding of the end-to-end supply chain. Her hands-on industry experience enables her to collaborate effectively with growers, suppliers, logistics providers, and customers.

Renee Nicholl

Zespri Kiwifruit Collaborative Marketing Sales
Markets: Reunion Island, Mauritius, Miami
Background: Renee joined the Fern Ridge Fresh team in 2018 and has a wealth of experience in produce sales and logistics. She runs our KNZ programme, in conjunction with Zespri for Kiwifruit exported to the Caribbean, Mauritius, and Reunion. Renee also oversees all the logistical requirements for our key customer programmes worldwide.

Sammy Lee
Logistics Coordinator
Background: Sammy has worked for Fern Ridge Fresh in a seasonal shipping and logistics role since 2022. We are excited to have Sammy join our team as a permanent member from 2025. Sammy’s attention to detail and positive attitude plus her extensive industry logistical experience makes her the perfect person for coordinating export orders between Packhouses, Coolstores, and respective Ports of NZ.
